“On December 1 Senator Corker made this statement:

“But at the end of the day, I am not able to cast aside my fiscal concerns and vote for legislation that I believe, based on the information I currently have, could deepen the debt burden on future generations.”

Today Corker Tweets:

Senator Corker denies allegations of the “Corker Kickback”.

Corker initially told IBT that the new provision “sounds totally unnecessary and borderline ridiculous” but later admitted he doesn’t “really know what the provision does to be honest. I would need an accountant to explain it.” Last year, Corker made up to $7 million from real estate pass through companies he owns.

His story, however, hit a snag when Sen. John Cornyn (R-TX), the Senate Majority Whip, told ABC News that the provision that benefits real estate investors was added as part of an effort to “cobble together the votes we needed to get this bill passed.”

When asked if the provision was added specifically to secure Corker’s vote, Cornyn dodged the question.

  1. I think Corker believed he needed to fall on his sword becaused he let Trump sink the TPP. He and his cronies would have become billionaires, over the execution of that treaty, probably. Now it was all for nought.

However, after McConnell and his RINO company destroying Roy Moore in neighboring AL, Corker has found new courage, and may not retire, as previously stated. If McConnell’s gang could stomp down Moore, they should be able to handle all comers against Corker.

  2. The TPP failure is an interesting thought. No doubt that Bailout Bob (R-Wells Fargo) let down the CFR globalist masters there, but it was supposed to have already been rammed through unnoticed by McConnell and Cruz. Unfortunately for “evangelical candidate” Cruz and his CFR/Goldman Sachs wife, it was brought to light during the presidential campaign. Trump’s MAGA ideology (if real or not) is directly opposed to TPP, as are American taxpayer interests. I don’t know if most voters even know what TPP was or that it would mean NAFTA on steroids, but they now know enough about Bailout Bob and his insider trading that only 22% of potential Republican voters view him favorably. So he couldn’t get elected again in TN unless maybe the TNGOP (once again) supported Bailout Bob and Team D ran Al Franken against him. I could also believe he may have lost his value as a leveraged/blackmailed bankster shill and was allowed to resign vs. be indicted. Would be interesting to know what happened in those Trump Tower visits when the FakeStream media (including Fox) was pushing Bailout Bob for Sect. of State. Every once in a while, the establishment counting on joe six pack to be stupid, forgetful and buy into their continual hypocrisy and flip-flopping bites them in the butt. Bailout Bob just reversed positions on running up debt too close in time.

  3. I wanna know where my MAGA-INO 35% Tariff went to. I reckon other more ?important? things must be done, before we even consider re-building America’s factories.

Looks like it won’t be long before Chattanooga’s favorite failed real estate developer, comes back home; and he’s a shoe in to be a TN Gov’na.
