Linda King attended the South Blount Utility Water Board meeting today. She informed BC Public Record that the Board announced that it was finely going to follow up on it’s proposal to let the customers vote on the fluoridation of it’s water. The Board had reneged on this promise for a couple of years. This decision coincides with BC Public Record’s announcement of the fluoridation bill that resulted from an effort by this author and with the timing of the reappointment of Board member Virginia Morton, who’s had complaints for the way she’s treated people. The Board has demonstrated little concern for it’s customers in the past. It’s likely that Morton wants keep her position, with perks.
