This is from retired nurse Suzie Bowman. She expressed her concerns about vaccinations and received a generic response. Where is the safety record that she is referring to? Vaccines aren’t double blind placebo controlled tested. Sophisticated? How so?
From Suzie Bowman:
Well, I suppose we are now to rest easy on the matter.

Please note that the adjuvanted H1N1 vaccine linked to narcolepsy in Scandinavia was not licensed or given in the United States, and no US influenza vaccines were linked to any such problems. We use sophisticated surveillance systems to help us recognize and react quickly to any unexpected, rare events associated with a vaccine because our highest priority is the safety of these vaccines. While credible scientific data consistently and overwhelmingly support the evidence that vaccination is critical to protecting and promoting the health of Tennesseans of all ages, Tennessee law (TCA 37-10-42) honors the wishes of parents whose religious beliefs or practices lead them to refuse vaccinations required for school or daycare attendance by allowing instead for schools to protect them by excluding such children from those facilities during outbreaks of vaccine-preventable diseases. To obtain this exemption, parents may provide the school with a letter stating that vaccination conflicts with their religious tenets or practices.Kelly L. Subject: 800 more children permanently harmed by vaccinesDear Honorable Governor Bill Haslam,The current vaccine recommendations (mandates) MUST be reevaluated.
ALL vaccines compromise one’s GOD-given natural immunity.
Scare tactics are utilized to manipulate compliance.
MANY adverse reactions are not being reported to VAERS.
Parents have the right to choose regarding vaccinations for their children.

More evidence has emerged showing that the GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) vaccine Pandemrix, which was widely administered throughout Europe during the 2009-2010 H1N1 influenza “pandemic,” was responsible for causing serious and permanent side effects in many of the children that received it. At least 800 children, it turns out, many of whom live in Sweden, now have narcolepsy because of the vaccine, and some government officials are demanding answers.
As we reported back in March 2012, a study published in the journal Public Library of Science ONE found that cases of narcolepsy, an incurable sleeping disorder that can cause hallucinations, nightmares, and even paralysis, skyrocketed by about 1,700 percent in children and teenagers under the age of 17 following the widespread administration of Pandemrix. Scientists determined at the time that mass vaccination campaigns for Pandemrix were directly associated with this otherwise inexplicable spike in cases of narcolepsy.
Now, researchers have all but confirmed without a doubt that Pandemrix was, indeed, responsible for triggering the autoimmune disorder in a significantly higher percentage of the population than normal. Even Emmanuel Mignot, one of the world’s leading experts on narcolepsy who is currently being funded by GSK to get to the bottom of the issue, explained to reporters that there is “no doubt in [his] mind whatsoever” that Pandemrix is directly responsible for causing the increase in narcolepsy cases among European children.
“This is a medical tragedy,” added Goran Stiernstedt, a public health official from Stockholm, Sweden, about the wave of vaccine-induced narcolepsy in his country. Roughly five million Swedes were vaccinated for H1N1 during the 2009-2010 “pandemic,” and yet as few as 30 people among these are estimated to have been saved from swine flu death as a result of the shot. Meanwhile, more than 200 cases of narcolepsy have since been reported and confirmed throughout the Scandinavian country. “Hundreds of young people have had their lives almost destroyed.”
Following the initial release of reports linking Pandemrix to narcolepsy, the European Medicines Agency (EMA) quickly blocked the vaccine from being further administered to individuals under the age of 20. But the damage has already been done among those who have been confirmed to be vaccine-damaged as a result of Pandemrix. And unless the vaccine is completely banned among all age groups, further reports of permanent vaccine damage could emerge in the coming months and years.
Back in 2011, a GSK subsidiary pleaded guilty to marketing medicines and vaccines that were known to be contaminated with bacteria. A tip from a company whistleblower triggered a federal investigation that exposed the GSK company for deliberately contaminating products in order to cut costs, and carelessly manufacturing some of its drugs with bacteria-contaminated water.

Michael Cannon of the Cato Institute writes in the LATimes:
The Pacific Legal Foundation is challenging the individual mandate, which originated in the Senate, even though the Constitution requires that tax measures originate in the House. The mandate is also vulnerable because it is not uniform across all states. And more than 40 lawsuits allege the law violates the 1st Amendment’s protections of religious freedom.
I AM grateful to God Almighty that I was able to see one righteous man and support his candidacy in a gang of thugs, whores and overlords, also known as politicians. He is my hero and a rare example that one can have power but not abuse it. One can have power, but use it to promote liberty. One can have power, but not become corrupt. One can have power, but remain true to their principles, 30 years later.
His prognostications have come true unfortunately. We should heed his advice now more than ever. Some foolishly stated that the sociopath Newt Gingrich was the smartest man on the stage. Heaven help us because that would mean the smartest of us is a sociopath.
Conservatives just learned what happens when you choose a candidate who has taken both side of nearly every important issue, sometimes in the same week. Santorum is the kind of candidate who would have opposed women being able to vote, justifying his position with some sexist statement like women are too emotional to vote. Rick Perry could be described as a vacuum head, but I think a better description is that his brain is like split pea soup, mush.
God gave us a Thomas Jefferson. Actually he gave us a better man than Thomas Jefferson. Ron Paul was a humble country doctor who believed that Medicare was unconstitutional and delivered babies for free, rather than take government payments and never performed an abortion while delivering 4,000 babies. Some yelled that he wasn’t pro-life. Nothing could be further from the truth.
Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God. Matthew 5:9
I desire to be a peacemaker and Ron Paul is a great role model, but peacemaking is nearly impossible in government.
Our solutions don’t lie within government. They never have. We need to stop our rebellion against God Almighty and he will heal our land.

Too good not to post. We’ve heard this kind of nonsense before. It bears repeating in hopes that some will wake from their slumber.

Prediction #1: Whoever loses will blame it on the weather.
Prediction #2: If Romney wins some fool from the Christian right will proclaim the storm was divine intervention, which will be met with outrage that he would consider all that death and destruction a good thing, and the remarks will be used to stigmatize Republicans. If Romney loses it will be proclaimed punishment of us by God for tolerating abortions.
Prediction #3: If Romney loses conservatives will console themselves that it is for the best that the debt bubble burst on Obama’s watch so he and the Democrats will be blamed for it and not win another election for a generation.
Prediction #4: If Romney wins but Senate Democrats keep control of the Senate they will block any action to deal with our fiscal and monetary problems until they trigger another Depression, which the voters will blame on Romney and the Republicans.
Prediction #5: If there is a 269-269 tie in the Electoral College Romney will be elected president by the House and Biden Vice-President by the Senate, whereupon Biden will spend the next four years causing trouble.
Prediction #6: Whoever wins, the debt bubble will burst within the next term, wiping out most of the world’s wealth held in any kind of national currency or debt. We will withdraw from foreign military deployment and Al Qaida will gain dominance over the Muslim world, leading to nuclear war.
Today my first article published by News with Views came out. Look for more in the future. “Christians” need to quit justifying evil.
I’d like to thank Karen Miller for sharing Proverbs 17:15 with me and for motivating me to write this article.
Let freedom ring!
It appears that the last sentence was cut off. Here is the article in its entirity.
Justifying the Lesser of Two Evils is an Abomination
Many evangelicals are self-professing conservatives who routinely vote Republican. Sure, the Republican Party has the rich old white guys with deep pockets who finance campaigns, but without evangelical voters, the Republican Party would go the way of the Whigs. Unfortunately, many evangelicals compromise and vote for the Republican regardless of how bad the nominee is. The Bible says these compromising conservative evangelicals are an abomination to the Lord.
“He that justifieth the wicked, and he that condemneth the just, even they both are abomination to the LORD.” Proverbs 17:15
Romney supports the NDAA which allows for indefinite detention of American citizens. He’s a warmonger. He is the worst kind of draft dodger. He picketed for the draft at 19, but used his religion as an excuse not to serve. None of his sons served either, but he will send your sons and daughters to die.
1 “Woe unto them that decree unrighteous decrees, and that write grievousness which they have prescribed; 2 To turn aside the needy from judgment, and to take away the right from the poor of my people, that widows may be their prey, and that they may rob the fatherless! 3 And what will ye do in the day of visitation, and in the desolation which shall come from far? To whom will ye flee for help? And where will ye leave your glory? 4 Without me they shall bow down under the prisoners, and they shall fall under the slain.” Isaiah 10:1-4
His Presidential campaign appears to have paid someone to commit fraud for the purpose of stopping Ron Paul from winning delegates. He thinks Ben Bernanke is doing a good job, wants to keep the Federal Reserve, and supports crony corporate bailouts.
He’s a pathological liar. He’s the worst flip-flopper I’ve ever seen. Most candidates wait until they are elected to change their positions. Mitt Romney changes his positions while still running for office, sometimes the next day. Romney can’t even remain consistent on the campaign trail.
“A lying tongue hateth those that are afflicted by it; and a flattering mouth worketh ruin.” Proverbs 26:28
He’s the lesser of two evils, so compromising conservatives say. That’s not an easy case to make if you examine Romney’s record; but it’s not one that Christians should be making. The Bible doesn’t tell you to choose between the lesser of two evils.
“Abstain from all appearance of evil.” 1 Thessalonians 5:22
Evangelical conservatives act as though it’s part of their religious tenets to vote Republican, no matter how much evil the candidate spews; but there is no 11th Commandment of Thou Shalt Vote Republican.
“The fear of the LORD is to hate evil; Pride and arrogance and the evil way And the perverted mouth, I hate.” Proverbs 8:13
South Carolinian conservatives, in the Bible belt, booed Congressman Ron Paul for suggesting that the U.S. should adopt the golden rule in its foreign policy. Torture and endless wars isn’t exactly what Jesus taught. This condemnation of a just man like Ron Paul is abomination to the LORD.
Business experience is supposed to be one of Romney’s virtues according to conservatives, but they’re ignoring the fact that he’s consumed by greed and the lust for power. No matter how much he earns, it’s not enough and now he wants the White House. It’s no wonder why Jesus said in Mark 10:24, “It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.”
The mantra of evangelicals for years has been God, guns, gays and genocide, with genocide referring to abortion. Romney conveniently became pro-life when running for an office where people outside the liberal State of Massachusetts can vote; typical Mitt-flipping fashion. Romney was a big supporter of homosexuals until he needed votes outside Massachusetts. Romney was for strict gun regulations when Governor of Massachusetts, but that changed when votes were needed outside of Massachusetts. He even told some whoppers about himself to try to convince people he was sincere. Romney professes the Mormon faith, and did a mission trip while dodging the draft, but keep in mind what Jesus said about rich men entering the Kingdom of heaven. Romney falls flat on the 4G’s conservative mantra.
Mormonism was listed as a cult on the Billy Graham Evangelical Association website, but that was removed just in time to elect a Mormon Republican. Apparently voting for someone you believe belongs to a cult is OK so long as the candidate is a Republican. Franklin Graham wrote on the Associations website, “I pray that all Christians and God-fearing Americans will put aside labels and vote for principles—God’s principles—that for many years have resulted in His blessing upon our nation. So, can a Christian vote for a Mormon? The answer is yes.” According to Graham, voting for someone who he believes is a member of a cult now equals voting for God’s principles. Just how hypocritical are main-stream evangelicals?
On the gay issue, the Bible does condemn men having sex with each other.
“If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination.” Leviticus 20:13
The Bible calls homosexual sex an abomination; like it calls justifying the wicked an abomination. Why do self-professing Christian conservatives rail against one and justify the other?
Frankly, if the Republican Party tried to find a candidate to play conservatives for fools any more than Willard Mitt Romney, the establishment would really have to look long and hard. Compromising conservatives who are making excuses for Mitt Romney had better think twice about what they’re doing. Justifying Mitt Romney is an abomination.
Comments: Please don’t take the paragraph about Billy and Franklin Graham’s hypocrisy on Mormonism to mean that I am trashing Mormons. I am not. I have friends who are more Mormons who can see truth more clearly than many Protestant evangelicals and I also know some who are just like the justifiers. It is not Romney’s religion that I despise him for, but his politics and flip-flopping. My point in including this is to call out the hypocrisy of the Grahams and many evangelicals who justify evil to support Republicans.
Last night’s Commission meeting provided a civics lesson on why universal brotherhood will never be achieved through civil government. If the government employees had left the Commission meeting room, it would have been nearly empty, despite having a sales tax increase on the agenda. Overlords are free to do as they wish when the people don’t show up.
There were public hearings before the meeting on a couple of road/land items on the agenda. I set there wondering how we ever got to where local government has the authority to approve or disapprove and micromanage nearly ever land usage for each parcel of property. It occurred to me that I could have been out eating Chick-fil-a (although I don’t eat chicken) and watching the Olympics (bread and circus) like everyone else. Maybe the Commission should sell popcorn, beer, pretzels and pizza and have main events, for items like tax increases. Although, I am sure that government would find a way to lose money on the concessions. After all, the popcorn popper would need free health insurance at taxpayer expense.
Seriously, when did we fall so far into tyranny that we have to beg and grovel before a board of overlords just to use our property or pave a road?
The main event was the sales tax referendum. Commissioner Lail said that the elephant was in the room, referring to Alcoa voters approving a referendum to increase the sales tax from 9.25 to 9.75. What should have been said is that the RINO was in the room because the all Republican Commission approved sending the item to the full Commission 19-0.
Charter amendments to the Childrens Home were on the agenda, sponsored by Tab Burkhalter. He babbled some nonsense about how the amendments would keep the County from being liable, even though the County serves as trustee. The Commission wound up sending it to the mayor’s attorney for an opinion on what to do because no one on the Commission knew what the Commission’s role is for the Children’s Home in the trust documents. It’s bewildering that a Commissioner would bring forth charter amendments without knowing what they’re suppose to be doing in the first place.
The county archivist was seeking approval to apply for grants to get money to get plans to move County records to the old Cermaspeed building on McArthur Road. Tab Burkhalter suprised me, somewhat redeeming himself with a rare moment of logic, by asking why we needed grant money to have someone develop plans to move the records, when we could go ahead and move them. The archivist told the Commission that the old Ceramaspeed building doesn’t have a sufficient air and ventilation system to store the records. This is one of the problems that Commission Folts, then citizens Folts, warned about when the Commission bought the old inadequate building. The Commission never should have purchased such a big old building that lacked adequate infrastructure and amenities to serve it’s needs. Who knows how much more we taxpayers will have to spend to fix up the old building.
Perhaps even worse was the problem that came to light when a point of order was made by Commissioner Moon, because the request wasn’t even in resolution form. This led to a discussion about whether bureaucrats can obtain grant money without obtaining Commission approval. Commissioners Farmer and Burkhalter agreed that they can so long as it doesn’t require matching funds. If the county agent wants county money then they will need to seek Commission approval. This sets a dangerous standard that lead me to speak off the Agenda.
I asked the Commission what would happen if a county employee wanted to take grant money from the United Nations to implement Agenda 21. What happens if someone within County government takes money from the Muslim Brotherhood, or Al Queda, or the Taliban? This policy is nuts!
When I finished, I heard Commissioner Ken Melton say thank you. I believe that he was agreeing with me that this policy is nuts, although I will stand corrected if he wasn’t. I tried reviewing the Commission video but am getting no sound at the moment.
For the record, I don’t believe there is a jihadist on every street corner and I certainly don’t want a police state to keep us “safe”. I used extreme examples to show why this policy is reckless.
Keep fighting tyrants. Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. James 4:7
Ezra Taft Benson delivered a sermon in 1966 that could also serve as a political speech that is as relevant today as it was then. Benson served as the Secretary of Agriculture under President Eisenhower. While I don’t think as highly of J. Edgar Hoover as Ezra Taft Benson, he saw the danger of communist incrementalism. Benson met Russian Nikita Khrushchov because Khruschov wanted to learn about American agriculture. Khrushchov boasted to Benson that his grandchildren would live under communism because we’re gullible to incrementalism.
Benson spent much of his life as a watchmen on the tower, standing up for freedom. Are you willing to stand up for freedom? I AM!
Pastor Chuck Baldwin nails the fallacy of voting Republican to get “conservative” and “pro-life” judges. Keep in mind that hypocrite Santorum voted to confirm Judge Sonja Sotomayor and routinely voted to fund Planned Parenthood. His wife also lived with an abortion doctor for 6 years before marrying Rick Santorum.
Insanity- Doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result.
This video was made in 2008; therefore, the information is a few years old, but the principle is still true today.
Today’s guest post is by Eric Holcombe.
A question for James Dobson and Mike Farris
So, James and Mike, which Iranians should we Christians murder first after we help you elect Rick Santorum?
I thought maybe you learned your lesson after endorsing Mike “I’m the uniquely qualified candidate because I have a theology degree” Huckabee who really didn’t have a theology degree. This was especially revealing for Farris and HSLDA as Huckabee had been homeschoolers’ worst enemy as Arkansas’ governor on multiple fronts, even with HSLDA actively opposing him at the time, but I guess they forgot all about that and decided he was the best man for the job to protect homeschoolers at the federal level.
Well, James and Mike are at it again and this time it is Rick Santorum that the evangelical Christian and homeschooler voting bloc is to support according to their sage advice. Mike Farris tries to tell us that Rick is a “fellow homeschooler”. Really? Well I guess if your children are enrolled in a public virtual charter school and ripping off the taxpayers in another state for the tuition that makes you a “homeschooler” just like Rick. By the way, the potential legal confusion of virtual public charter schools (and their “free” government computers) with independent “home school” is one of HSLDA’s alleged serious concerns that they use with their appeal-to-fear tactics to keep you on the hook for annual dues so they can keep “fighting the good fight” for homeschoolers to keep those legal definitions nice and tidy. They’ve used Santorum many times over the years to sponsor their federal education or marriage amendment bills, so maybe they have no choice but to endorse, uh, I mean “commend”, but good grief, this guy has done nothing but expand federal education spending and control. There is a much better choice for homeschoolers in this primary who has actually introduced legislation to help them, and contrary to Santorum, Gingrich and HSLDA, understands that there is no provision for a federal department of education in the US Constitution and this issue should be reserved for the states and/or the people. This is why I never regretted canceling our HSLDA membership after one year. The HSLDA is a top-down, federal control-loving fraud. But I digress…
Perhaps the greater problem here is with Dobson, Tony Perkins and the Family Research Council who should know better. I can’t believe they actually listen to what Santorum says and can endorse him as the best choice, let alone someone who best represents their “values”. To that effect, I have created a list of suggested scripture revisions for these “conservative evangelicals” that support Santorum. I’ll call it the RSV (Revised Santorum Version):
Matthew 5:44 But I say unto you, Love KILL your enemies, bless CURSE them that curse you, do good AND IMPOSE ECONOMIC SANCTIONS ON to them that hate you, and pray for PRE-EMPTIVELY STRIKE them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;
James 1:19-20 Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow SWIFT to speak slow AND EVEN SWIFTER to wrath: For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God.
Rom 12:19 Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, YOURS saith the Lord.
Matthew 7:12 Therefore all things whatsoever ye wouldSPECULATE that men shouldMIGHT do to you, do ye even so to them BEFORE THEY HAVE A CHANCE TO DO IT UNTO YOU: for this is the law and the prophets.
1Th 5:15 See that noneONLY APPROVED UNITED NATIONS COALITION FORCES render evil for evil unto any man; but ever follow that which is good, both among yourselves, and to all men.
1Th 5:21 Prove all things; hold fast that which is good ENDORSED BY YOUR “CONSERVATIVE EVANGELICAL” LEADERS.
Mar 10:42 But Jesus called them to him, and saith unto them, Ye know that they which are accounted ELECTED to rule over the GentilesAMERICANS exercise lordship over them; and their great ones exercise authority upon them.
Exo 20:13 Thou shalt not kill UNLESS YOU HAVE REALLY GOOD INTELLIGENCE THAT SAYS THEY MIGHT POSSIBLY HAVE THE ABILITY TO MAKE A NUCLEAR WEAPON SOME TIME IN THE FUTURE.
Matthew 24:9 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name’s sake , EXCEPT FOR THE UNITED STATES, BECAUSE THEY ARE A CHRISTIAN NATION.
Luke 21:24 And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall NOT be trodden down of the Gentiles, BECAUSE THE UNITED STATES WILL ALWAYS INTERVENE ON THEIR BEHALF until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.
Revelation 7:9 After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, EXCEPT THE ONES THE UNITED STATES INVADED IN THE “WAR ON TERROR”, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands;
